Behind the Scenes at BeElectric Studio: A Star-Studded Affair with Mark Ruffalo and Linda Evangelista

We're thrilled to share the exciting news that our very own BeElectric Studio served as the backdrop for the cover shoot of Perfect magazine's Issue Six, featuring the talented Mark Ruffalo. This dynamic collaboration has now led to Mark's nomination for Best Supporting Actor in the 2024 Oscars for his exceptional performance in "Poor Things."

A Star-Studded Team
The shoot was brought to life by an incredible team, including renowned photographer Willy Vanderperre, fashion editor Katie Grand, and grooming by Kumi Craig. The production was masterfully handled by Tiagi, with casting by Greg Krelenstein for GKLD Projects.

Behind the Scenes with Linda Evangelista
In addition to Mark Ruffalo's captivating presence, the shoot also featured the iconic Linda Evangelista. Seminal supermodel Linda shared her journey and the second chapter of her modeling career in an interview with Perfect's Amber Later. Linda's triumphant return, closing Fendi's resort show, marked a significant moment in her career. She expressed her gratitude to Kim Jones for reigniting her dream of modeling.

A Glimpse into the Interview
The interview, skillfully conducted by Amber Later, promises an insightful look into Linda Evangelista's triumphant return and her perspective on the evolving landscape of the fashion industry. It is complemented by a stunning photoshoot by Willy Vanderperre, capturing Linda's timeless beauty.

Dressing Duncan and Beyond
Holly Waddington, the costume designer for "Poor Things," shared fascinating details about creating Duncan's character. Drawing inspiration from satirical drawings of the period, the team crafted costumes that embodied the arrogance and self-importance of the upper class. Waddington's insights into the fittings and adjustments shed light on the meticulous work that went into shaping Ruffalo's character.

The Honorable Mention
We are honored to be the chosen studio for this exceptional shoot, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mark Ruffalo on his well-deserved Oscar nomination. The recognition is not only a testament to Mark's talent but also to the collaborative efforts of the entire team involved in bringing "Poor Things" to life.
