Studios 7, 8 & 9 form an interconnected production complex in Bushwick, Brooklyn, offering maximum flexibility with Studio 7's expansive 1,739 sq ft space, Studio 8's compact 1,032 sq ft facility featuring a pre-lit green screen cyclorama, and Studio 9's 1,189 sq ft space with a pre-lit white cyclorama.
Studio 7 features variable grid heights from 13’ to 16’, making it ideal for set building and equipment holding, while Studios 8 and 9 provide 13’ to grids with specialized cycloramas and sound insulation perfect for rolling sound.
Studios 7, 8 & 9 are right next to Studios 5 & 6 and can be booked individually or as an entire facility for large-scale productions. Each studio features private entrances or seamless access between sets for efficient workflows.
Conveniently located three blocks from the L train with easy access to Manhattan, JFK, and LGA, the studios sit in the heart of Bushwick's vibrant creative district, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Studio 7: Large flex space
Studio 7 is a 1,739 sq ft studio with direct street access perfect for building sets. The entire studio is covered with a full grid. The stage has 300amps of electricity delivered through Cam-Lok drops.

Studio 8: One Wall pre-lit green screen Cyc
Studio 8 features a 1,032 sq ft facility with a pre-lit 24' green screen cyclorama and 13 feet to grid, providing immediate shooting readiness for chroma key productions. The studio delivers 300 amps of electricity via Cam-Lok drops.

Studio 9: One Wall pre-lit white Cyc
Studio 9 is a 1,189 sq ft space with 300 amps total power. The cyclorama itself is 24’ x 19’6”. While it typically lives white, we can paint it any color that your production needs!

Private dressing rooms and HMUs
Studios 8 and 9 each include dedicated dressing rooms for talent preparation and wardrobe changes between setups. The private spaces provide comfortable accommodations and efficient workflows for hair, makeup, and styling throughout the shoot day.

Direct Street Access
All three studios feature direct street-level access for efficient equipment loading and set construction. The ground-floor configuration streamlines load-in and load-out for productions of any scale.

ON-SITE GRIP AND ELECTRIC
A fully stocked grip and electric compound at our Studio 5-9 Complex provides immediate equipment access for last-minute needs. The on-site facility ensures comprehensive G&E support without delays or off-site rental coordination.
NEW YORK FILM & TELEVISION PRODUCTION TAX CREDIT
All of our soundstages are qualified for NY Film Tax Credit
If you are producing a feature film, pilot, or a television series, you may be eligible for a fully refundable base line credit of 25% of qualified production costs incurred in New York State. Be Electric Studios is a Level 2 Qualified Production Facility (QPF), participating in the NY Film Production Tax Credit Program.
