Behind the Scenes: Persil’s Wardrobe Refresh Hotline — Shot at Be Electric Studios

We were thrilled to have Persil's latest campaign, The Wardrobe Refresh Hotline, filmed right here in Be Electric Studios! While we didn’t produce the project ourselves, our space was home to the colorful, comedic, and crisply styled shoot featuring none other than Christian Siriano.

🎬 Directed by the brilliant @thehilarysmith just before undergoing hip replacement surgery (talk about dedication!), this playful piece highlights the complexities of designing cheerful, comedic soundscapes—often more demanding than darker or imaginary ones.

Sound designer 🏴‍☠️🦾 shared how they replaced 90% of the on-set audio, battling noise issues, tricky room acoustics, digital clipping, and even AI-resistant artifacts. From synthesized ringing to full-on voice restoration, this one was a labor of love.
