Cyc is coming together!

After a month of construction the cyc is finally coming together. 

The curved cyc pieces are constructed out of polystyrene covered with a polymer cement. Polystyrene is one of the most commonly used plastics due to its ability to be easily manipulated and its light weight nature. Polystyrene also has a long self-life and does not rot. This cyc wall system was extremely easy to install. The polystyrene easily adheres to the sheet rock wall we built making it a pretty intuitive process. The final result once joint compound is applied and floated to the floor is rock solid, and incredibly smooth. We're really happy with how its turning out!
